Project Initiatives
 
Over the year the Development Isle Madame Association (DIMA) has lead a number of community and economic development initiatives that have lead to a better and more viable area to live and work. Projects spearheaded by DIMA have included:

Housing
The development of small options housing; one of DIMA first project accomplishments.

Population Retention Strategy
Research into retaining and attracting people to Isle Madame, including ex-patriots and immigrants.

Ecotourism
DIMA is proud of the development of the Cap Auguet Eco-Trail, an 8.8 km hiking trail that wanders from wooded area to delicate marshlands. A must see and do activity for any visitor to the area.

Community Connections
Annually DIMA organizes one of Isle Madame’s most popular events, Codstock.
